First Customer Interview: Melanie
A busy mother and professional discusses navigating skincare in a full and hectic life.
We spoke with Melanie, one of our first international customers, about her experience with the Elevate. In this short interview, she shares what prompted her to try microcurrent, how she experienced the first weeks, and what changes she began to notice over time.
center center; What were your thoughts or feelings in the period before ordering the Elevate?
Before I ordered the Elevate, I was in a fairly stressful period. I was constantly tired and also looked tired. I wanted something that would make me look fresher.
I have always struggled with wrinkles around my eyes; they have bothered me my whole life. Over the years I have tried many treatments, but I was never really convinced. When I found the Elevate, I looked at the website, the photos and the reviews, and it all sounded promising. Especially because I could do it at home at my own pace. I have a busy life, so the flexibility really appealed to me.
You said you've tried many things. What treatments were those?
I have regularly had facials and microneedling done. The problem is that I no longer have much time for it. You have to make appointments, travel back and forth, keep it up regularly. It was just not sustainable.
I also really like Elevate because I'm not a fan of Botox. I have always tried to avoid it, especially because I'm worried about possible long-term side effects. That was another reason why I wanted to try Elevate as an alternative.
About six weeks later, friends and colleagues started saying I looked fresh or good. That was the moment I realized it was working. Melanie, customer
And then you started with the Elevate. How was your first experience?
I didn't know what to expect. The first time I used it, I didn't feel anything and thought: is this supposed to be like this? I watched the videos and instructions again and realized I was doing it right. After that it was super easy. I just added it to my evening routine. It takes about five minutes. And if I skip it in the evening, I can do it the next morning. I really like that flexibility.
Did you eventually notice changes?
Yes. I noticed the first real change about six weeks later, when friends and colleagues started saying I looked fresh or good. That was the moment I realized it was working.
I've been using it for almost three months now and I'm really starting to see a difference. My face looks firmer, my skin feels more firm and is better hydrated because I let the gel soak in at night. Some of my fine lines are also becoming less noticeable. I didn't really expect an improvement in wrinkles beforehand, so that's a pleasant surprise.
I just feel happier and more confident.
I think I just feel happier and more confident. I no longer look so listless and tired: at least on the outside. Inside I'm still tired, because I have a three-year-old who doesn't sleep through the night, but at least my face glows.
That alone makes the day a lot easier. And the feeling that you're hydrated all day also helps enormously.
What would you say to a friend who is unsure about trying the Elevate?
Honestly, no regrets. If you're looking for something you can easily do in your own time and where you actually see results, definitely give it a try. I've already recommended it to a few friends. I wouldn't do that if I wasn't convinced myself.
