Why House of Tones was founded
House of Tones did not start with a business idea. It started at home.
About three years ago, my parents got divorced. My mother was suddenly single and entered a new chapter in her life, one in which she became more conscious of her appearance and more bothered by certain changes she saw in the mirror.
Fine lines. Wrinkles. Loose skin around her eyelids. They bothered her enough to start looking for solutions. Pretty soon, the conversation turned to Botox. Not because she wanted it, but because it seemed like the only option.

That realization led to a simple question: Is this really the only option?
I brought it up with my best friend, who then mentioned it to his girlfriend. Because she works closely with the modeling and beauty industry, she was the one who first introduced me to microcurrent technology.
In the United States, microcurrent was already being used at home by millions of people as part of their skincare routine. In Europe, however, it was largely limited to professional salon treatments.
Driven by curiosity, I started a thorough investigation. I looked for solid evidence: from scientific research and clinical results to long-term safety and effectiveness. What I found was reassuring.

Together with my co-founders, we started a long process of testing, sampling, and validating. We worked closely with dermatologists, studied scientific literature, and refined every detail.
One thing quickly became clear: microcurrent only works well when supported by the right conductive medium. That insight led to the development of our HydroGlow Activator Gel, designed to support optimal conductivity while caring for the skin at the same time.

Over time, we saw visible changes. The loose skin around her eyes improved. Fine lines softened. Her skin looked firmer and more rested. Not stiff. Not overcorrected. Just natural.
The most important thing was that for her, it was enough. Enough to feel comfortable in her own skin again. Enough reason to stop considering Botox.
House of Tones is for people who aren't comfortable with invasive treatments. For people looking for a gentler, more natural alternative. That's where House of Tones began. And that purpose still guides everything we do.
